Front Hitches: Pic Request
Here's mine:

Its the same hitch that you would see on alot of rangers. I have the same style in the rear.

I still need to grind it all down and put a good coat of black on it. Doing that over winter break.

Yep Thats the kind I used. If you have a tranny cooler it will rub against the rubber hose thats all.
Factory skid? I have a Hidden Hitch with a factory skidplate and trans cooler and it works great.

hitch of a 97 chevy full size

cut it down

flipped it to weld it in

unsightly bumper gap
end *****.
thats my hitch, love it, although i havent really gotten the chance to use it yet, i plan on having a multi-mount winch
The hitch Shane posted up, the one thats supposedly out of production, looks identical to my Street Scene behind the pan rear hitch.

Ok smartass. Don't you have something better to do like poke holes in your truck with your finger?

^^^don't let that price fool ya, with a bit of shopping around, I got mine for $180. Still probably more than you want to pay though. I was just thinking it might work for those guys that want to bolt one in, if it's the same as the Hidden Hitch one.
It's not a Ranger, but it may give you some ideas.
For my Sport Trac, I found a hidden style hitch for a Super Duty that was on sale for $50 at bi-mart. I looked around behind the bumper and decided it could be cut down to width, flipped upside down and bolted to the holes where the tow hooks were. I took it to a metal fab guy and and asked if he could do, and he said no problem. A few hours and $80 later, this is what I got.

Dude....it could be done for a whopping $20 tops. haha.
I'm in at $7 in materials. Plus a beer to weld it all up because i don't trust my 120V machine.
Supposedly This Hitch Is direct bolt on for 01-08 Rangers and 01-03 B series
