fuel bypass regualtor

hey guy just looking for some info. I am in the process of adding a fuel cell with external inline fuel pump, along with a fuel regulator.

My question is factory there is some sort of possibly fuel regulator and is on the return side of things, with 2 black rubber hoses. 1 in and 1 out, and a yellow vacum line and electrical plug connection. not sure what this part is and if it is required, just trying to clean up the engine bay.

any help is good help

thanks

It might be the Vapor Management Valve. What year is it and what is the location of the part?

its is 1999 3.0L and it is located drivers side right near where the fuel lines leave the frame and come up to the engine. If it is the vapor management valve, do you thinkit is important will the truck run the same without beside maybe and error to pop up?

You will get a check engine light without it.
