fuel filter change
fuel filter change
i know the fuel filter needs to be changed on my truck, i know about the disconnect tool, but i need to know how to release to fuel pressure.. ive heard something about leaving my truck off for a while... i dont have time for that, so how do i do it
there is a Shrader (sp
) valve on the injector rail that you can push in to release the pressure.....it isn't necessary though...i never do....you will spill a tad bit of gas on ya, but not enough to worry about it...just keep your face out of the way..

i lost more fuel on my diesel mercedes which has a low pressure fuel system where the filters are than on the truck with the high pressure system... just wear safety glasses to be extra safe and keep the fuel out of your eyes
