Will 1999 flex fuel injectors fit on a 2002 motor with a 2000 computer?

same senior as above...will a 1999 flex fuel sensor work?

 

They will "Fit" but are the wrong size(pounds per hour), 1999/2000 Flex use 21 to 24lbs, 2002 would use 17 or 19lbs
Only the year of the computer matters for injector size, its pre-progammed for that injector size so it can calculate fuel flow OUT of each injector

Fuel type sensor was only used on 1999/2000 Ranger, 2001-2003 Flex Fuel Rangers used computer/O2 feedback to adjust between gasoline and E85

 

Are 2000 and 1999 injectors the same lbs?

 

Flex Fuel used different size injectors than gas only in 1999/2000 so not a fair question, 3.0ls 2001 and up used same size, 1998 and earlier used the same size

 

Needing to change fuel injectors from 2002 regular gas engine to flex fuel injectors. Running a 2000 flex fuel computer. I found flex fuel injectors from a 1999 ranger. Was wondering it those would work. Not exactly sure what I should look for at this point.

 

Yes they would work, size wise, can't say about used injectors working or not, lol
