aight well.. the other night i was going down the road with my buddy, and we were just bummin the night away loookin for something to do, goin like 35 mph to a gas station, when all the sudden my friend mumbles out "oh look some deer" i look.. and baboom! (i **** my pants just a little at this time) thump.. thump... "oh look you hit one."

we get outa my truck, didnt look to see if there was any damage done, and there was an 8 point buck.. id say arround 220 pounds easily. it was sittin there on its *** like a drunk guy that just got his *** kicked. hit it clean in the head.

well it was pretty obvious is was going to die.. it had a broken skull.. an antler dangaling off its head and a shattered leg.. so my buddie says "hey you got a knife or anything?? we might as well put it out of its missery." so i looked.. and all i came up with was a moderate sized crescent wrench.

we werent to sure of ourselves, but we gave it one good clonk right to the head to try n give the final blow.. but teh deer bucked up and rammed strait into my tailgait.. (woo a lil dent in my tailgait now). then right as we were going to try something differnt a cop pulled up.

i put the wrench in my back pocket and i hear "what the hell you boys doin?"
me- "officer i seem to have hit a deer!"
Officer- "he seems pretty mangled ill put it down and file a report."

he pulls out his pistole, loaded and with the saftey already off of coarse, tells us to stand back, and shoots it in the head. the cop just wounded it more, cuase the deer got back up and jumped at my truck this time.. (giving me a couple nasty scratched in my tailgait this time)

so the cops freaking out waving his pistol arround like its a inner citey shootout, and finnaly gets it after about 6 shots. he then comes upto me sweattin and panting sayin hes going to call animal controle to get it removed.. so i said "officer that wont be necissary, that deers caused me enough damage, i might as well get something out of the deel."

so the moral of the story is i got some venasin in my freezer, at the cost of a bent bumper, a bloody crescent wrench, and a raped tailgait.

lol id like to hear any other good storys anyone else has with thier ranger as well, if you care to share :)

LOL!, that sucks man....., I hit a deer this past winter, not fun... Funny story man gave me a good laugh, but sucks about the truck..

 

haha yea my friend got to the rack before i broke the camera out.. and the cop couldnt aim to save his life... plus mosta the carnage from the bullets neway was left on the road.. i think maby 2 of his shots actualy hit it

I hit a deer bout 3 years ago in my mustang. Hit its *** end on my drivers side corner. After I got stopped and pulled off the road I actually went looking for the deer. No tools, guns, or anything with me I looked for about 20 minutes and no luck. After hittin a deer the least you can get is the meat.
