FX4 Rangers
yea .....it will. it's just a different shifter arm on the Fx4's...bolts the same way to trans. Might need to reuse your shifter boot, or get one of the round style hurst boot sets. Wanna sell your stocker? I'll buy it from ya.
it'll still work......just replaces the pivot ball up on the transmission..has nothing to do with transfer case shifter. But like i said earlier, you won't be able to run the hurst shift boot.....square boot in round hole doesn't work. lol.
yes sir...i do....not i do not have an fx4....i just got a xlt w/ the regular old cupholder shifter bezel(square hole). I'm not cool like you having two sticks through the floor, and chromy floor shifter bezels(round hole). lol.
It is pretty sweet lol....only bad part is i can't use the hurst super boot lol...O WELL...

I'm going to have to go against the grain here and say the while the hurst might work it probably wouldn't be a good idea in your particular truck. Here's why:
The twin stick rangers use a different inner boot/floor plate setup than the normal manual trans ranger. The normal rangers use a floor plate that is separate from the inner boot. This normal inner boot is removable for installation of the Hurst shifter. I've never installed a hurst so I'm not sure if this inner boot is completely ditched or not so maybe someone else can confirm that. BUT if that piece is ditched then a hurst will not work. I know people complain about the extra noise they make and I'm not sure what constitutes that....
In the twin stick rangers the floor plate and inner boot is one piece and they cannot be separated. IF the inner boot is not to be ditched when using the hurst then you should still be able to use one in your truck, but keep in mind installation will be much more involved in your case. Since the inner boot is the same piece as the floor plate then you'll have to remove the entire floor plate for installation of the hurst. Removal of the floor plate requires removal of the carpet from the truck, which means you'll also have to pull the seats and whatnot.
If I had to guess I'd say that the hurst will probably work without and kind of butchery or modification, it would just be a much bigger PITA to install in your particular truck. In any case please don't butcher your floor plate.....the twin stick ones are super expensive to replace, not to mention very hard to find.

The floor plate is untouched...mostly. The rubber is trimmed to clear the billet housing on the hurst....maybe 3" circle. Other than that, it's good to go. It's not like they changed the transmission or the way the shifter mounts.
Justin....i've got something that will solve all your issues on wanting to run the hurst boot....
pull tcase off, install electric. Pull shifter/boots/floor plate/chromie bezel off and send all to me!! I'll send you all you need to run the hurst boot.
