maybe illegal in Ohio but not in Indiana, if they pull me over they cant do much but tell me to put it away as far as I'm concerned.
Ohio does suck, so many troopers on I75 its unreal. nothing like running 85+ then full on brakes when the radar detector goes off.
North of Cincy to just past Dayton is the worst.

I dont know why anyone would want to go to Cincinnati... My step-mom lived in Colrain. I know the area kinda. Im off Ronald Regan HWY or I-75.
And i've lived in Ohio my whole life and never seen an anti-radar detector sign. I used them, my friends, my cop friends as well. Dont worry about it.

I can give you ALL the cop hidding spots for Northbound I75.
Kings Island was bought by Cedar Point (YAY) which means my KI year pass works at Cedar Point and vice versa. They have a $150 a night indoor water park with a HUGE water slide that goes outside the building and is ALWAYS 85 degrees inside. Cant wait.

Are detectors legal?
Laser detectors are completely legal in every state when used in automobiles or light trucks (under 10,000 lbs.). Similarly, when used in automobiles or light trucks, radar detectors are legal in almost every state. Exceptions are Virginia and Washington DC, which have local regulations restricting the use of radar receivers in any vehicle.
Concerning trucks over 10,000 lbs., the Federal Highway Administration (FHwA) issued a regulation, effective January 19, 1994, which prohibits nationally radar and laser detector use in
these types of vehicles.
Prior to the FHwA regulation, laws existed in the state of New York restricting the use of radar detectors in trucks over 18,000 lbs... and in Illinois in trucks over 26,000 lbs. These laws remain in effect. In Canada, radar detectors and laser detectors are illegal to use in Manitoba, New Brunswick; Newfoundland, Ontario, Prince Edward Island, and Quebec.
NOTE: It is the responsibility of the individual radar detector owner to know the laws in your area regarding the legality of the use of laser/radar detectors.
