I'm just curious to see the kind of gas mileage that all Rangers get.
any year,
any model
any engine

My 1987 Carbed 2.3L gets about 19 city and 25 highway

what have you got???

Just filled up today ($65) and got about 17.5 mpg with the last tank full.
05 4.0 4x4

The worst I ever got was 12 mpg in the winter when it was really cold.

16-18 city/20s highway

When i first got my truck i was only getting like 13 to 14 so i replaced the spark plugs, the wires, pvc valve, fuel filter and air filter so i'd say that helped my mileage a bit

Worst tank was 14.3, best tank was 24.4, most recent tank was 16.2 (new exhaust, had to "clean" out the old carbon).

I've been getting a steady 19.8 lately in the Ranger.

Worst tank in the Dodge was 14.5, best tank was 20.6, most recent was 16.5.

That was getting a steady 17.5. Tune up and oil change soon.

on my 1993 2.3L manual, with 32's i got about 18-22 city and about 14-16 highway (no thats not switched)

now my 2000 4.0L auto 4x4 with 32's i get about 17-18 city, and got 20mpg on highway normally... my last trip up north i got 25mpg highway... have the receipt to prove that one wouldnt believe it myself..

both trucks compensated calculations for tires..

My stock Ranger (4.0L 4x4 with auto) get 15.6 mpg (City), and 17.3 MPG (50/50 mix).

NOTE: City has a few fun acceration moments, and highway is 60-75 mph.

i dont run much city, but its around 16 mpg and i average about 19.5 on highway.

i run mostly all highway since i live outside of town, i average about 320 miles a tank with a little extra fuel left to make it to my spot, i fill up sunday night and drive all week till friday morning when i stop at krogers fuel and get a dollar off a gal. so i try to schedual fill ups.

i also carpool to work with my buddy, i drive one week and he drives the next. so that saves me about $120 a month
