Either way it is going to be a set of rock crawlers black powder coated this I am set on it is just the size I am confused about. I am going to get a set of 33x12.5 Super Swamper TSL's.

I like the look of the 15x10 with a 12.5 inch wheel. i like that wide look.

But with a 15x8 I would not break things as easy.

If you have 33x12.5 please post a pic in this thread and if you could say what size rim you have and what you backspacing is that would be awesome.

 

do you know if they will fit 15x10. i have 31x10.5x15 and they touch some time on the bumber in a sharp turn

 

They will fit with the body lift sitting on my living room floor. If that doesn't work then I will have to crank the t-bars higher and add a chevy drop shackle in the back. I will make them fit.

i have 35x12.5x15 on 15x10's..........personally i had 15x8's on my 33x12.5 that i just took off......the sidewalls were tucked a little much....i like the 15x10's on a 12.5 wide tire...if you look in the magazines that has the tire width specs it will tell you that it is on a 10" wheel.....a 12.5 can be run on either a 8-11" wheel.....10" being the best choice....

look at bills(04lvl2) truck he has 15x10's also on a 04.....look at my cardomain page in the signature....the pics on there are with the 15x8's...on 33x12.5's

but i would not recommend a 15x10 with these tires. they are 33x12.50s but i dont know where they got that demention from.. they look like 11.'s

 

I don't have any pics right now of my 33x12.50x15 on 15x8 rockcrawlers, I should by the weekend. My opinion is if you are going to offroad at all and air down, go with with 8" rims they hold the bead better when aired down, where as with a 10" rim your more likely to pop a bead and are more for street use.

here is Interco Tires website....if you look from the 33x12.5x15 all the way up to the 38x15.5x15 they are saying it should go on a 15x10 wheel!!!!! i bet if you had tire problems with these tires on a 15x8 wheel they wouldnt warranty it...

with this tire you wouldn't want to air it down a lot unless on rocks..... maybe in mud about 5-10 psi because of the tread design..

I know what super swamper recommends I have run swampers for a really long time. I currently run 33x12.50x15 on a 8" rim (will be on this weekend they were on my jeep before) with no problems. I don't know how much wheeling you have done but in just about any type of wheeling you want to air down and if you use a 10" rim you better have a way to reset a bead because you are going to need it. With a swamper you are going to want to air down to at least 8 psi to get the tire to flex at all. I am speaking from experience I have been offroading for more then 15 years and know pretty much what works and what doesn't.

Thank you all for the input. I have sorted out all the info here and every where else I could find it. As for the poll a 12.5'' tire on a 10'' rim does look better. But for an off roader an 8'' rim is the logical choice. I would be very upset if offroading and I popped a bead with my 10'' rims. So I am going to go with a 15x8 with 3.75 backspacing. I think this is going to look great and cant wait to post the pics I only have to wait about a month and a half before I have the time for the lift to go on.

 

33s = 15x8
35s = 15x10

 

you need to keep the stock back spacing or you WILL rub when turned at full turn....the stock backspacing is 3-5/8" i dont know what that converts to in metric....it isn't 3.75 because that is 3-3/4"
