IIRC, the last time I filled up the cobra with the crap 91 we have here in cali, it was 3.47 ON BASE! When I left I saw one place wanting 3.53 fok that.

I'm another one that's -very- happy he has a wimpy lil 4 banger.

now, i always question the prices that the different areas of the country see. Is the price, reasonable compared to the cost of living in that region, making it seem normal to them, but outrageous to others?

From what I've heard they measure a gallon of gas at 60 degrees fahrenheit which then they price per gallon. Well we all know gas expands and retracts depending on weather so in Canada where is cold they have a gauge that adjusts the gallon/price so they get exactly a gallon so that the fuel company does not give out more gas and lose profit. Here in Cali where the weather is alway hot and gas is always expanded they don't dare use that gauge and we are not getting a true gallon of gas.

$3.39 for regular here. Our state's Attorney General is launching an investigation into why we on the west coast are paying so much more for gas than anywhere else in the country. I fill up at least twice a week and it's killing me!

I filled up this week. 3.23 or so.. Gahhh Cmon! We have families to feed and offroading addictions to deal with.. Not like the gas companys care though...

Id really like to know what the gas company does with all those profits.. I mean i understand businesses want to make the most.. but to some extent.. when is enough enough?

Currently its between $2.59-2.65 this area of Jersey. I'm going to fill up that massive 33 gallon tank on the Bronco before things get worse.

Why the hell is that "hybrid-fanatic" city of Portland Oregon's gas stations always higher than the rest of the country. I've been paying 3.15 or more for the past 2 weeks! I just filled up my other truck at 3.35 for premium.
