got the hellas working.

well i did a few things today and thought that since i was in the "get stuff done" mood id see wut could be done to the truck thats been put off. i finally decided to work on the hellas and got them to work.

the power wire behind the fuse had slipped out so that had to be put back in, i tried fixing that a month ago and lost the mushroom piece that touches the fuse so i had to get one of those and then i found the wire from the switch had slipped apart because i had to cut it to get it through the firewall and spliced it back together with a butt connector that was evidently too big. so now ive got the lighted switch mounted and working. makes me happy cuz it made me mad everytime i looked at the lights and knew they didnt work.

i also put my bumper corner braces back on as i had to take them off to install the hitch. now i feel safer with the bumper and may let people step on it.

tomorrow i may look into what needs to be done about moving the HVAC and putting the CB in its place and how/where to put the 6x9s.

I think with the HVAC you just need to extend the wiring to wherever you want to put it, but I'm not sure. And the 6x9's can fit in the rear doors.

ive heard different things about the 6x9s. anybody know how to take the covers off the doors? ive tried it before and got maybe one screw out if there are any.

i may have to look into fiber glass. i may move the HVAC if i can find some hardly used bucekt seats or some at a great deal.
