Got rid of the Ranger...

Welp...everything's all done at the Ford dealer, just have to give them time to clean it up on Monday morning and I'm going to pick her up...

2007 F150 FX4 ext. cab 4-door, blue and gray two-tone paint...5.4L 300 HP, automatic. power bucket seats in the front, full center console, center console-mounted shifter, power front and rear windows, all the bells and whistles you can imagine.

oh man it's nice...

basically this, but in dark blue instead of black (I'll post pics of it Monday night):

Why's it take 2-3 days for your dealer to clean your new truck? I always walk out of the dealer with my new truck the same day I buy it. Washed, detailed and prepped.

Well when I went there originally, I was looking at the Sport Trac and the F150. When I left, my girlfriend and I went to look at a Frontier and a Titan...then I called them back at Ford and asked if I could come pick it up today...at 4:45 -- he said they closed at 5, and they needed time to clean it and all that, but he ran the truck through and I was approved...I mean that's cool..it'll allow me to burn my tank to near-empty on my ranger just in time to take delivery of the f150 with a nice full one lol.
--

Payments aren't that bad really...I think somewhere around $500, but I'm currently paying $428 for my truck with manual everything...of course my truck was going to be a 36 month finance, and this one is going to be a 60 month, but a 36 thousand dollar truck should be a bit more than a 21 thousand dollar one lol.

Oh I forgot to mention, I think it has the subwoofer, although I didn't check...because it has the 6-disc cd changer with mp3 and input jack...the radio sounded much better than my ranger anyway. The only thing I'm pretty sure it doesn't have is heated mirrors...even has a power moonroof.

Oh, here's one I snapped while I was up there...

Thanks...I'll have a like-new cap for sale in a little bit here as long as they didn't factor it in on the trade...I forgot to ask, but I'll know Monday morning.

Nice lookin truck! Your still welcome here! I kinda wish you were closer and I'd consider buying the top and having it painted. Every now and then I really wish I had one, but it take away alot of function of the bed.

The dude I got my cap from told me that when he traded in his 04 edge for a SD, they were going to take $50 away from the trade-in value so he took it off and re-sold it. I wish he woulda told me that beforehand, I woulda tryed to haggle him more. lol

Sure is a nice looking truck.

Well, we may not be able to help with mods as much and all -- but you don't have to leave this community. My son-in-law was here when all he owned was a Jeep. Now he's got a 1978 Bronco as well and he still hangs out.

Stick around!
