Got stuck
Well I had my first time i have ever geting stuck last night.
Started off by my wifes cousin getting his jeep stuck the night before. he called me at 3 in the afternoon asking for help. mind you i had just went to bed (work 3rd shift) so i had about a half an hour of sleep. so i get him and stop to pick up a tow strap. we head off to batavia (about 50 miles from my house)
We get to the sceen of the incident and he is on his phone. he fails to tell me the area that i just pulled into was really wet and i proceed to get my truck stuck, still about 25 yards from where his truck is stuck up to the rocker panles. we manage to push it back to the harder ground and that is where we lost it. so i happen to know somone that lives nearby. now it is dark out. with the guy i know behind the wheel, the wifes cousin and i proceed to push my truck out from where it was stuck. i make it back to the main road (well the closest thing to that) and wait for his aunt to show up.
We discuss the posabilty of one of the other vehicals making it down there to pull him out. the choices were a mini van and a v8 explorer. we decide that the explorer probally would fair about as good my truck. go and talk to a farmer down the road some. he gets a nice big tractor and goes to where the jeep is stuck. i bust out with the nice new tow strap, hook it up to the jeep and the tractor. tractor pulls it out with no problem.
we thank the farmer, clean off the jeep and I head on home. when all is said and done, some 6 hrs later i am finally making it back home. with only a half an hour sleep i decide that i will not be going into work that night. i get home just as the wife is leaving and proceed to pass out.
that was my night, how was everyone elses?

It sucks that you got stuck, but at least you can get some extra sleep!
