Grease Fittings

Are there any grease fittings/zerks that need greasing on my 05 4x4? If so what intervals?

What did you do when your sway bar started squeaking? Just curious, I just primed my whole front end (control arms, frame, everything big) and then put two coats of the rubberized under coating. It looks so good, I don't think I want a skid plate anymore. While I was under there I just wanted to make sure everything was maintained.

um, not to be a sore sport here, but the LAST thing you wanna do is put any kind of rubber coating on anything major on your truck. Cause what will happen is, over time youll get scratches in it, and then water will get behind it, and since its 'air tight' it will never dry out and will rust like no tomarrow. Not only that, its a btch to get off once its on. You will need to burn it off with a torch. sandblasting wont even touch it.

What i did when the truck was still new, is I painted everything with rust oleum. When ever i have a wheel off, i touch up with more paint. and thats how i keep everything looking good and not all rusty.

So your telling me that all these people that have put bedliner under their trucks, in their beds, on their floors inside, will all be rusted out? Hmm that's weird, I guess Rhino Liner and others will be out of business before too much longer.

I guess where I'm confused is that it says this on every automotive site that sells the 3M Rubberized Undercoating:

* Rapid-drying, rubberized undercoating material in an aerosol container
* For rust proofing and sound deadening, also for sealing fenders, quarter panels, door panels, repaired sections, welded joints, hoods and decks
* Sprays easier than other products, maintains proper spray pattern while applying and won’t plug the spray nozzle

The rubberized undercoating adheres to the metal surfaces. It leaves no "gap" behind it where water can seep in. Don't worry about rust. They sell "rubberized undercoating" for a damn good reason....because it works.
