Great deal on 98 ranger

I was looking on autotrader, and found a 98 ranger 2.5 5spd, like i wanted, for only $3,000. I was just thinking, i could do several mods (wheels, exhaust, graphics) and still be at or under $4,500-5k. Just one problem...........I havent sold my truck yet. My Ebay auction doesn't end till saturday. Heres the ranger listing.......... http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/vdp.js...=en&cardist=40

Im also kinda got my eye on a 99 mustang v6 5spd. The only think holding me back on that is im not sure how much insurance will be on it since im 17.

Not a bad looking truck, but it has a little tiny engine in it(if I remember correctly you wanted a small engine didn't you?).

yea, i wanted a 4cyl. I figure its performance is close to a Pt cruser (which we have) and its not slow, but its not fast. And the pt and ranger weigh about the same, and have about the same hp and tq. And its performance might be similar to my truck, which has 145hp and probably 180 tq. figure in the loss at the rear wheels from the auto trans, and high ratio rear end (about 3.2) and its 1,000lbs more than the ranger............and you come up with comparable performance..............i think.

I guess i'll be better off sticking with a ranger. Plus, I just like trucks.

Oh boy watch out though. Your getting close to college and guess who your friends are going to call on to help them get there and back. My first year with my old truck I got called on to move 5 people 12 times. You better get the sign that says "Yes its my truck, no I wont help you move"
