Has it ever been made?

I'm looking for a very specific Ranger. I'm beginning to think it's never been made. Does anyone know if they made a Ranger with:

4.0 V6
Auto
4x4
Regular cab
short bed.

If it's never been made I can look for something else.

They are rare but do exist. are you looking for the OHV or SOHC motor?

I have seen one in my area and wish I had a 4.0 instead of the 3.0.

Maybe buy a 3.0 and convert it to a 4.0 or maybe a 5.0... sorry got carried away !

I saw one it was a 94 with the OHV didn't drive much better/faster than my 3.0 though now if you find a SOHC it would be quick. I think its because of the power to weight with that combo wasnt as desirable that way. But it does exist. Your 4x4 requirement is what is getting you short bed regular cabs were built primarily as work trucks most of the 4x4 had the nice interiors which pretty much required extended cab such as the center console and such thats why they are so rare pretty much had to be custom ordered.

I actually came across a RCSB 4.0 5spd 4x4 the other day on craigslist. I still really want to build one!

The RCSB Ranger is to me the best looking of the styles but now the steppie has edged forward.

Luck on your hunt…

I want the SOHC motor, I think. That is the more desirable motor, right?
Since I live in communist California, I'm not allowed to upgrade the motor. Otherwise I'd put a small V8 in one and be a happy camper.
