having some tires offered to me for free... BUT

they're 235/75/16.

how would those be compared to my stock 255/70's?

skinnier yes. but any taller?

the only plus to these tires, is that they are an A/T. compared to the stock wranglers that come on rangers.

idk whether i should do it or not.
they have a lot of good tread left on them too.

Thats not too shabby of a deal....go for it!

Not that it has any relation to my thread, but I got all 4 31" BFG A/T's with the 15" black steelies that were on a '94 Jeep YJ with about 22,000 on the tires, for $180. Already put 4,000 on the tires w/ the Mazda. AND, I still have SIGNIFICANT tread-life left.

yup,if they're free, take 'em and turn around and sell em cheap for like $200. Hey,it's cash in your pocket you didn't have before. Use some business sense.

my dad has those toyo open countrys on his silverado ... they suck. Horrible wet traction, real bad in the snow, seem to be wearing very fast as well

my dad used to have em in 35's on his sierra, and they seemed to do pretty good..

idk, its a cheap A/T, with good tread left. i think they go for like 150 a piece new. so 350 for 5 tires (theres a spare as well) is pretty good i think.

if youre not going to do any serious offroading those toyos will be okay for light offroad and highway use.
