just move your hands into the back of the headlight..

turn (lefty loosey, righty tighty) the black ring off, and turn the headlights out

be careful not to touch the bulbs.

Good luck

no... i just cant figure out how to get to the back of the headlight... the radiator support bracket thing is completely in my way.. and i cant really force my hand in between there.

EDIT*- i was just looking again... and im guessing that ill just have to pull the battery out on the driver's side?

on mine.. (dunno about a '98) there are two tabs for each headlight, (you can see them on the top of the headlight when you pop the hood) pull them straight up, and the whole headlight enclosure should come out the front. then the headlights are simply on the back, just a twist and pull away. then you just pull the lights out of the sockets. pretty simple, but when you put them back in it takes some patience you gotta play with the pegs and slide them into just the right spot and then slide the tab back down so it slides into a slit in the peg so it holds in firmly in place.
