For the corners, I went a bit more conservative on the temperature at 190F. The corners took three sessions at that temperature before they would completely separate.

As you can see in the pictures, I scuffed and painted the entire reflector portion black. I also painted the inside of the outer rim of the lens because it blends in much better with the headlights that way. If you don't do that, it creates a whitish halo around the corner and the silicone sealer joint shows through, too.

^^ yea i see, thats a good idea, looks much cleaner. looks like i might order some 06 corners.

..so it works better on the 06 corners then the clears im guessing? cause it seems others had problems with the clears. id like to try it to my clears but if it doesnt work, i wont try

I have heard many people say that the aftermarket clears are easy to break or melt. However, IIRC, Jared (Rangerboy03LVL2) has done it successfully.

Aftermarket clear corners can be modded but they do break easier. MUCH easier. If you can, I would try to use a heat gun on them. Jared melted his and had to use the heat gun to melt the plastic back into a shape that would hold in the truck.

I painted my headlights, then did the corners on the "white" corners. Also painted the lenses.
