Here's my version of the Mag Lite mount mod

I started with a piece of flat 16 ga steel and 2.25" pipe that were laying around the shop. Then cut it to the shape I wanted, and bent the angles using a finger brake.

Welded the pipe in place

Inserted some foam to keep the Mag Lite from rattling and shooting out when I hit the brakes.

Then mounted it to the floor via the drivers seat mount. Here's the finished project.

What do you think?

Very Nice! Looks better than my Radiator hose clamp/PVC coupler con-Craption!

It definitely needs paint. I don't really like the way the foam is in there, it looks kinda sloppy, but it isn't really that visible. Over all, good job.

you could always drill two small holes at the ends of the pipe for the zipties to go through so u can cut the foam flush.

i like it though!
