yeah utah sucks.. but it can be fun to watch people who go "cruising the vard"
as mexicans call it.. they go cruise in their bean machines down this stretch of 5 miles racing from light to light.. with cops all over with laser guns..

and if the cops get happy they pull em over and get out the rulers and everything.. they pwn them its lovely.

I think HIDs should be illegal for on road use.
That's because you don't have them and don't drive with them. Buy some and you'll change your mind. I do agree I hit most people's mirrors, but I didn't buy the CAR they're driving and I chose to lift my truck and therefore needed brighter lights to see at night for my own safety.

So you're saying auto makers shouldn't make new cars then that promote safety? HID's are more safe. That's why they use them.

A properly designed and installed aftermarket HID or projector kit should be no different than an OEM installed one. Regardless, they both annoyingly bright to oncoming traffic and vehicles you are following.

Drive in a vehicle that has them and you will agree the visibility is better. The only thing I can think of to cut down on the brightness to oncoming driving is not using such a brightly coloured light. All OEM ones are within spec of what, like less than 4500k or something? Anything 6000+ is just stupidly coloured and glaring.

I have no problem with HIDs unless they are are bright blinding white or blue.

The same goes for Georgia, but I would change your comment a little...

Yay for Florida/Georgia not being a nanny state that forces its citizens to pay for BS just to earn extra cash on top of what is taken from your paycheck.

It's called ADJUSTING your headlights, when I added HID's the light projected was higher, so I adjusted the beam down and never had anyone flash me after that.

Stupid laws.
Better vision for you and you alone. Ask on-comming drivers how they feel about your wanna be european truck.

Are there even projector head lights available for the ranger?

Ontario only requires inspection of the vehicle when it changes owners. Other than that, you can own your vehicle for 20 years and only have to have it inspected when you buy it. But you do have to do emissions checks every 2 years if you live in southern Ontario. About 10 mins west of me and everywhere north is all emissions exempt.

We have property in an area where they are emissions exempt and I can use that address to get out of having to do emissions inspection.
