Holy Crap! My Truck is Something Else with..

the new engine I just got put in! Man..I just went to fill up yesterday and don't really pay attention to what I got for the tank since I'm used to getting about 175-200 with the Whipple and all. Well, I put in 16.675 gallons-pushed it to the limit I guess! LOL..Cost me about $45 to fill her up. Well, got in the truck and looked at the Gas Mileage for the tank and I was like DAMN! 350 Miles for the tank! ALL CITY and like 5 Mins on the Freeway doin 65 and thats it! You do the math on it! 21MPG for CITY! I'm taking a road trip with this sucker and see what I get on the freeway the whole time!

EDIT:

Now I'm curious to really find out what is under the hood and what all they did to it b/c this is freaking me out! hahaha..I know its a 3.0 Engine still just with upgrades to it unknown to me since they won't tell me what it is that they did to it!

Brian, i know this is way offtopic, but I have to ask. Did you sell your old wheels/tires (The 35's and wheels) to someone with a black ranger that lives in Orange Park?

Sorry to sound late and all, but what happened to your old engine w/ the whipple? What do you have now? So you got crappy mileage with the whipple?

They wouldn't even tell you what they'd done, and you PAID for it? Something fishy there IMO...

It sounds like they did pretty well, but I surely wouldn't buy an entire new engine without knowing exactly what was in it. That's a freakin lot of money to drop on a mystery box!

I was at the car audio show this year and this guy with a black edge with a system, neons, and the same exact tire/wheel combo that Brian had. I thought he bought them, especially when it mentioned that he was in a club in orange park. I thought maybe him and brian were buddies. But now i know.

Hey Jon, I prolly know who you are talking about! I've seen him a few times around the OP area everytime I'm out there. Nice truck nonetheless though! Sh*t happens when you put all the time and effort in to a nice truck then people follow you! Its all good!

I gotta know what you did to get 21mpg.. I've been getting 18.5 for months. Of course thats almost entire 80-85mph running on I95, but still, it used to be 19.5-20.
