So as some of you may have seen in previous posts, I’m in midst of putting in a new used 4.0L. I thought I made adequate notes during disassembly, but I’m finding a few that I missed and can’t find homes for. Hoping some of you would be willing to chime in some wisdom. I’ll make notes under each photo…. Any help or input offered would be GREATLY appreciated!!!



circled in red, this vacuum line starts at the ball reservoir - I connected it to the red line that comes off the intake plenum area, near the drivers side fuel rail. Is this correct?




In green circle — gray vac line — One end disappears into the cab. I’m thinking the other end perhaps goes on the sensor (or maybe it’s a regulator of some sort?) that is in-line on the heater hose connecting water pump to firewall (same line with the tee). Then, in purple circle, there is a short length of black vac line. I’m assuming one end goes on bottom of the same sensor/regulator - but no clue where the other end would go….?
