Some of you may or may not be aware of a site called carster.com. It's kind of a spin-off of cardomain/myspace, but with a few twists. Anyhow.......

Back on October 11th, DUBOffroadEdition challenged me to a showdown. Showdowns last for 5 days and this particular one is at just under 21 hours left as of this post.

So here's where the rivalry comes in.

This showdown is Streetqueen/Pavement Pounder vs DD/Offroader. Both DUB and myself have very good potential with things we plan to do to our trucks. We're both 4x4, but DUB uses his for show and I use mine for DD and what it was designed for. So in the name of good clean fun between 2 R-F forum members, let's get some votes in (for me LOL). It's currently 18-8, DUB's favor and I have yet to use my vote.

Why don't we set this kind of thing up here on this forum? Some friendly competition...might be a bad idea if things get too heated though...

 

actually, if you think about it, the concept is kind of like TOTM.

 

TOTM never seemed to last here on RF... we had a couple, a while ago.. but it never really took off.

and yeah, lol... that rivalry thing here on the site would probably turn bad, lol..

 

i cant figure out how some of you guys have time to be on all those sites.

 

i have one set up, but i never go to it..........................^ work! lol....

 

Let's see, I work 40+ hrs salaried each week, I have mondays and tuesdays off, I graduated college in May after 6 long years, I have 3 friends here and I only hang out with 1 regularly and they are all still in college, said friend's schedules are different conflict too much with mine (they have weekend off) so i don't see them much, I have 46 snakes and lizards I care for in my own personal collection, i go hiking and 4x4ing about 50% of the time on my days off, i run ever other day anywhere from 2.8 to 3.8 miles, i have no woman because they're all FUGLY or stupid or both here, and many many other things. But yeah, I find time to be on here, ORR, reptile forums, myspace, facebook, carster, cardomain (need to update it), and play video games all because I'll be 25 in Nov, I'm bored as hell, there's nothing to do in this town, and I'm extremely bored with brown hair and brown eyeed (98%) women in this town. So basically I have nothing better to do than go to work, hike, 4x4 here and there when I can afford to waste the gas, and sit at home twiddling my thumbs, not blowing money other than on electricity.

 

I'd say thats a good reason!!!

 

oh, and I find time to cook for myself too. And I'm not talking like soup out of a can, pb&j sandwiches. Full meals, like chicken parmigiana (last night), spaghetti sauce from scratch, steaks, chicken cacciatore, etc.
