How? Black leather seats.

I've seen them on the 2004+ Rangers. I want them. I won't pay for a set of torn up ugly ones, and new ones from Ford would be about $15,000. Is there a way I could get some of that sexyness, and not take out a loan for them?

you can color the leather on a set of grey or tan seats......or find a set in a wrecking yard or off of ebay...

even the replacement seat covers from the dealership (the leather, not the crapper covers) are about $250 for the bottom and another $250 for the top sections......

Salvage yards near my place are few and far between. :P( (That's why I need someone to find me some power mirrors!)

-Yeah, that $15,000 comment was smart-***. Ford rips customers off. I just wanna be comfy in the leather.

I hate the look of seat covers, so I won't do that.

i'd like to get my bucket seats redone in black leather. right now they're cloth, which is fine... but leather is better.

my next door neighbor is really really good at sewing. she told me a while ago when i have time she'd teach me how to sew so i could redo my seats... i've just never gotten around to taking her up on that.

Leather is nice but I am really sold on the sport trac buckets I put in my truck. They are so comfortable.

My buddy's got custom leather in his Edge... it came with the truck, but I don't think it would cost as much as buying new seats from Ford. You could get custom colors also if you wanted.

Hate to bring up an old topic, but how much are just the factory seat covers from ford? I need to replace mine b/c the previous owner had a big burn mark on the seat.

Check eBay for the "pleather" ones..........fake leather. I got a set a few years back and they are excellent quality and haven't faded, cracked or ripped. Check my Cardomain for pics. I paid around $100 something shipped to my door from Cali....and I live in the Great White North!!!

Definatly worth a look......I know the leather seats on there do go for quite a bit.

Good luck!!!
