Mine is loose and I cannot see how it is fastened to the hump.

Are you referring to the one below the dash? Lift the rubber mat in the console (it may be glued, you'll have to peel it off), and you should see two screws. This is how it is held down. They may have just come loose, but it's possible the console itself is broken where the screws go. If that's the case, you'll need a new console.

This is the long console between the bucket seats with the arm rest, glove box and drink holders.

Okay, if you remove the front cupholder section (grab the sides of it and lift the front up, then pull it forward and out), you should be able to see the screws that hold the console down. Make sure they haven't come loose.

I can't see how the back of the console would come loose since the armrest holds it in place. But if the rear is still loose, remove the two caps (one on each side towards the rear) and loosen the bolts for the armrest. Remove the armrest and you should see a single screw that holds the console to the aluminum bracket below. This screw may be stripped out, so you may need to replace it with a larger screw.

I found 2 holes at the lower front on the drink holder section really close to the floor. I inserted an piece of wire and it went up into open space. I removed the arm rest lower hinge screws and removed the arm rest. I took out 4 screws inside the box under the arm rest and the box fell down to the tunnel. It is too wide to pull out and won't go back or forth much. I removed 2 screws from the lower sides near the back but I still could not lift it up. Everything is loose but won't lift. I looked under the truck to see if it was bolted from the bottom but the gas tank is where any bolts would have come through.
Any other suggestions.
Harry

The aluminum piece that the armrest bolts to is held to the floor with 4 nuts. The nuts go onto studs that were welded to the floor. Once you remove the armrest, you only need to remove the small screw at the top center of the console, right under where the armrest was bolted. You should not have to remove anything else in the back.

Up front you need to remove the cupholder assembly as I previously stated. Lift up the cupholder at the very front until it unsnaps, and then pull it forward to free it from the console. Then, look down inside the console and you should see the two screws that hold the front down. remove those, and you should be able to remove the console body.

Read the below page at TRS. It details how to remove this console, although some of the info is for older consoles which are slightly different than what is in your 2007 so do not worry about the parts where they tell you to remove the inner liner or the door. But the 3 or 4 pictures you need that relate to your console are in there.
