I 'officially' signed my truck over to me, with 78 miles on it, on August 28, 2004 at 1:05 PM. It was a lease. $0 down, not even taxes, paid for plates. On September 2, 2007 my father died. I extended the lease by one month by making an 'extra' payment. Using Power of Attorney, a copy of the Will and my soon to be executor status, In October of 2007, I signed the truck, over to me.

In July of 2009, I paid off the truck, after the lease my truck payment went from $248 to $350... At the time, My trucks worth was $14,500 My balloon payment was $10,500.

there were several factors that went into the decsion to buy my truck:

1) MY DAD who is now dead, picked it out and talked me into it....
2)I had, at the time put ALOT of work into it
3) it was worth more than the buy out, which is odd.
4) it had never given my any problems as far as staring and being drivable...

in that order... is why I bought my truck,.

My mom and I picked up my truck I be leave in Sep. of 2000 and she signed it over to me Nov. of last year. Mom got her new with 28 miles on it (It was a show room truck... I think) we've owned it for 10 years now and she currently sits with 116K+ miles on it and is all factory except the CB radio, antennas, and tires. When I put the truck to rest if and when she finely dies I will be buying another Ranger or at least another Ford.
