so after thinking i wanted a sleeper (but i have a 4.0) i was like what would be the easiest and it came out to be to do a mazda front end conversion and put b2300 badges on my truck, then i wondered how many b4000/b3000 have put b2300 badges on their truck to make it seem slower???

im sure its been done but how many??? (and im pretty sure some b2300/b3000 owners have put b4000 badges on too)

is this a good idea??? should i do it. (will i be flamed for such a stupid idea, maybe)

well, SOME people do put the FX2, FX4Level III badges on their truck and there is no such thing. so I wouldn't be surprised if some here with 3.0's say they have 4.0's and some also say they have an "edge off road", BUT edge never came with an off road package from the factory. so, in a nutshell, there are lots of people who play "pretend" here on R-F.

 

i would say uncool and you deserve to be flamed cause your truck is lifted with bigger tires. if it was lowerd and you could auctlly go fast than maybe...but for now? def an fx2 sticker would be better for you.

id change the tags on my 5.0 mustang, but you can tell that its a 5.0 if its running. no cats and a magnaflow catback.

You want a sleeper ok easy just buy a $25,000 LS7 (505 hp, 470 ft/lbs) and shoe horn it. Since your truck is from an Import company get a either a RB26DETT (with proper tune can hit 600hp) or 2JZGET (Supra TT engine).

If you want to stick with Ford based products there's the Aluminator 4.6L 700hp crate engine, OR do a diesel swap.

Those are your sleeper options no one would ever expect.

I used to have a mazda sleeper... it was an rx-8 though... A mazda isn't a mazda unless it has a rotary engine.

 

Just add one of those "R" emblems after the model emblem. seriously...i heard it adds like drifting skills to the ride.
