Wellllll I have finally managed to hurt my ranger somehow. Went campin with a few friends of mine last night and today we went exploring down a random dirt road. I pulled down a hill to make room to turn, locked in 4 wheel low and when I started to back out my truck slipped and the rpms shot way up needs less to say there was smoke then my truck wont go anymore.

Even out of 4WD it wont work, Matt (sayian) Pulled me out to the main road and a wrecker came and got me.

Whats weird is i can still crank it, the engine seems fine, the tires turn, the undercarriage looks ok, and the trans. seemed like it was ok. I dropped it off at the shop. Lets hope for a quick easy fix, but some how i no thats not gonna happen....my truck was worth about 3000 last time i got it priced, if it cost more than that to fix it Im not gonna even bother ill just drive the pony till I find me a good deal =)

so the mustang is your DD right? well I agree with you...if the bill is more than 3,000 I dunno what I'd do cause no one will wanna buy a broke ranger... good thing you have a nice stang tho!

 

Thanks...I love my pony, but my ranger was my first vehicle ever guys it just saddens me ..I can't explain it. I like it buts its not worth putting more than what its worth in it.

yah i was thinking tcase also. Just how you tried to say everything else wasn't it. and a tcase isn't too bad of a fix, since you can find a manual tcase for 150$ lowest, and they're super cool.

 

Thats what dad and the tow guy thought it was...i hope so im poor till payday =|

 

Well guys turns out it was my trans. There goes 3k out the window

Good news is my truck will work again, bad news is I need to go by the bank for a loan.
