What color is this?
Its the paint that was on my old ranger

it looks blue but its got a slight purple to it. also a slight metallic look. I actually liked it. made the truck stand out, and all the ladies liked it

EDIT: IF your truck is a 95-97, it is Bright Sapphire Metallic Clearcoat, and the code on the door jam should be something like JA/M6704. It is the only color that is even close to the color of your truck in those pictures.

yeah the ladies liked it. i liked it too though. it was a different color. it was like it was blue untill you really payed attention then you noticed a slight purple color to it.

and no i don't know the paint code. and its not just purple.

oh the truck was a 1995

actually found a description that might fit it the best on powerstroke.org

it was a 96 F250 that the guy had, and he said its the blue that turns purple in the sun

lol wut? Deep Wedgewood Blue does the same...except yours is purple in the day w/o sun hitting it. lol.

Park my Deep Wedgewood Blurple next to a Sonic Blurple, and mine is blue and sonic is purple.

haha sorry guys was kinda i a hurry. i'll assume that is the actual name of it because a quick search on google didn't come up with anything.

and hey don't blame me, i originally bought the truck off a little old lady haha

sorry to thread jack but since we're talking about paint here....i looked forever to find touchup paint for the truck in TORCH RED, well i came across somewhere the its ALSO called COLORADO RED....WTF, i dont get it, so i went to the dealership and they had it under colorado red....the same dealership that had it listed as torch red when i bought it....i dont get it...

Grabber Orange is also called Valencia....same exact paintcode with the same mixture. I think F4 or E4 is your paintcode, Ford likes to change names but not the color it seems.

It's entirely possible the color is called one thing on say an F150, yet called another on say a Ranger. But both share the same paint code, just the names are different.
