Yea it sucks I just rolled 36,000 miles tonight. I have only had my truck since July 1, 2004. I drive WAY too much.

I put the pizzas in the bed of my truck. Most of my miles come from just driving around because I like driving my truck!

actually my truck never really smelled like it. At most maybe for like an hour after I got off work, but it might also be cuz I dont have carpet I hate carpet in a car its a PITA to clean.

5 years or 75K
only 13K on LIL BLUE right now
the 5 years will come soon enough
when I change back to the 31" A/T tires for the winter I will take it in for a very slight oil leak from the front seal
that will be a MAJOR repair!!

my warranty went about 4 months ago and i've been to ford at least once a month!

First my check engine light came on but it was a loose wire on the intake clip... the tech was nice and only charged me $25 which would've been $75 for the labor and just checking it. A month ago, my truck wasn't charging so i had to get an alternator...$200 i did that myself. 2 weeks later (now) my truck is spitting gas out of the gas tank when i fill up so i have to fill him up REALLY slow (30m mins to get a full tank). I'm taking it tomorrow to Ford while i'm home so they can look at it.

In other words, not to rain on your happiness, but be prepared to be at ford to have something looked at. While my warranty was still in effect, i never had problems except for the pulleys and idle sensor..........they all had to be replaced this January!

I'm happy to report (knock on wood) that I'm just hitting 50,000 stressfull miles and I have not had a single problem with a single component other than a flat tire.
