Did you not just buy that yesterday?

It could be fix but it is weather or not the insurance company wants to put the money into it. Is the cab itself damaged? If its not it looks like its like door, fender front suspension. Probably $3-5K at least if done at a body shop.

Ouch. If the cab isn't hurt then it might not be too terrible

dont wanna poke fun or make light of a serious situation but dude you have a hover craft wheel now. tell me how it rides ha.

and that seems repairable. new A-arm and whole steering assembly/brakes (basically a new front end and if the frame aint bad just new panels and doors and hood.

cost of repair might not = insurance of totaled truck

Can you post a pic of the door sill with the door open? If the cab itself isn't damaged, it shouldn't be totaled. Also, from the pic you posted, it looks like there's no frame damage, but again, a better pic would help.

Damn. It was so clean.

I'm sure it can be fixed though. That's nuts. I figure thats how my luck would go if I bought newer than 96.

Good Luck man.

As long as the frame and the cab are good it's fixable.

like others have said, there doesnt appear (by visual) to be a lot of real "serious" damage. mostly cosmetic and repairable. The front end is definitely going to need good bit o'work but doors and body panels are easy enough to fix.

I dont know the year. Around 2002? But, it would be cheaper and easier to replace. That was a major accident. Sorry to see your truck like this.

yea its toast...i work at a body shop so let me offer you my reasoning

the rocker panel is ****ed...needs replaced

lower a pillar is ****ed...needs serious attention...and you cant see whats hiding under the fender that a pillar might even need to be replaced if its crushed under there and thats a big job

im willing to bet the frame is swayed

and there might even be some body mounts that need replacing

were you found at fault?

I'm assuming nobody got hurt, that would be a good thing as medical bills can add up fast. That is a shame though, that was a very nice Ranger. Next time make sure you have full coverage. Hopefull you weren't at fault and the other guy's insurance will cover you for damages.

Its done for man. how fast where you hit? anything over like 20 MPH and you've got yourself a bent frame.
i see this all day, everyday. It may not look like it, but i'm willing to bet its tweaked. front cab corner probably.
in addation.
Door skin, Fender, Ball joints, Brake line, CV shaft, Tie rod end. Rocker panel (could be scalped in)
if you can find a good frame guy, i'd go for around 2k with Used body parts, new suspenions items, and frame with labor.
