Arg, on my way home about 11 tonight and am comming over a small hill, right over the top there is a deer aannndd i smashed it. Was able to slow to about 30 before I hit it so luckily the bumper seems ok. Clear corner, headlight, grill are all shatered. Sucks too because I have 1,000 dollar deductable so it will all probably be comming outa my pocket. Anyway I will have pics tomorrow when I'm in a better mood. Just needed to vent a bit.

Chris, my advice is to not even tell the insurance company about it. A few 'little' claims like this and your premiums will go through the roof, regardless of fault. Ask me how I know.. :(

Uh.. I'm not so sure. I have a Manik on my truck and have 'tapped' a few arm and wrist sized pines not too long ago. I now have some pretty heavy dents in the guard. I believe they are 80% cosmetic..

Hahah the deer is good and dead so I dont think I will be seeing any money from him. If I was going to do it, now would be the time to try an 04 front end conversion... may run into some problems with the hood latch though...

i just hit my 2nd deer tonite...the 1st deer ran into ME, and left a small dent in my bed, and tonite i hit one at about 40....knocked his *** out, but not a damn thing happened to my truck...gotta love chrome bumpers....

 

Christian, that is an AWESOME mount. My brother does Taxidermy work...I need to show you guys some pics of his work. He's done a bobcat, 2 turkeys, one racoon, 2 coyotes, one fox, countless deer, and rabbits. He's only been in business about six months. I'm keeping him busy on the fish side of things. :D

my dad's office is full of mounts.. my stepmom doesn't allow them in the house...

i have a few mounts in my dorm room, a turkey in my room, a deer in my room... and one of the mounts in my dorm is one of our cows that got shot by some losers(tresspassing) point blank in the forehead... it looks scary...

 

itd be so much easier to do it all urself... 30 for clear 110 for headlight and 40 for grill all under 200... 200 > 1000 when ur paying
