I just got a sweet offer from someone
And I might just take them up on It. I need more details about their car though... Its a 78 Camaro and thats right IT HAS T-TOPS. Time to grow my mullet! From what I hear the body is in great condition and also he said all he needs is a Carb.
He wants to trade me for my 94 XJ 2dr 4x4, He wants to haul a boat with it. And if it is in good shape I am going to go for it cause GM parts are Cheap
When I see the car I will take Pictures

Alright I will be sure to look for chevy rust. If its a 6cyl I dont really care if it were running as I would go get a chevy 5.0 for it... Whats the point in a Camaro if its 6cyls... Plus its over 25yrs old so that mean antique plates and no personal property tax or inspection... But Major cancer would be the main thing that would keep me from getting it

my brother has bought at least 3 78 transams over the last few months. the 2 major areas of rust are the front core support, particularly where the battery mounts. That whole side may be trashed. Not sure about aftermarket replacements for camaro, but for a TA they are not available.'
The other is the metal under the t-tops.
with any old vehicle, the passenger side floorboard is probably an issue.

Yeah Ive decided to keep the xj, I went by and looked at it, rust on the back winder, T-Tops were good, and it was a 96, but it did have under 100k on it....
My XJ has no rust and I dont like cancer

1973-1992 Chevy V8s (especially Camaro and Corvette) are SERIOUSLY underpowered. If you want to swap a V8 in buy a LT1 engine from the 93-97 Camaro or a LS1 from the 98-00. Or go old and buy a pre-73 engine with no emissions or insurance BS.
AND FOR THE LOVE OF GOD if you put an 80's 305 in I will chop your f'in ***** off. Seriously.
