I love air conditioning!!!!!

Ya so today i finally got off my butt and recharged my a/c in the truck its needed it since this spring. it was 90 out and used it for the first time this year man i love it!!!

sorry thats all i got

acully after the regear it runs fine with it on before i regeared o hell forget it i never turned it on

lol, i know how you feel. I need to recharge mine, because when the compressor kicks on, boy you can bet that the truck is in no hurry at all. But when its off, it runs like usual. But im moving up to 4.10s soon so maybe the accel. with be a lil bit better either way.

agreed, florida sucks, it was 93 here today, with 85% humidity, and it rained half the day.

ya i know am headed down to Tenn probly in august so ya i thought i might want it working

i recharged my air on my old 99 before i sold it.
I put the temp stick in the vent and got it down to 40..

I still have the R12 gets a HELL of alot colder it was so NICE i love it i cant even leave it at the coldest setting its just to cold.

man, my hvac panel looks like itd fit in a ranger. the panel/floor doesnt turn the compressor on but things are still cool. so im runnin with that on and the windows down and dont even give a damn.

AC is great, but only when in my truck. But I drive my jeep to work about 50% of the time and it needs recharged, but I don't want to pay to convert it, so im stuck with heat when I drive it. Oh well

mines not converted. i am just a lucky sob that has cans of R12 around left over.

Yea lol, you are lucky. The stuff sells on ebay for ungodly prices. Its not all too bad though, cause when I drive to work its 2-3 in the morning. Its only on the drive home at 12 when its really hot

ya i have well over 12 cans of it. left from when my dad owned a repair shop. it has its $.99 price tags too man if they only knew

because the compresser has a slight leak in it.

I also get it free from my dads bud that does heating and cooling for a living. its so wonderful.

no not yet. am selling the truck next year most likely but if i do i will replace the whole thing i can get a free new one but its a r134a soooo would have to change it anyway

if it weren't for car a/c, i couldn't even leave my a/c'd house. it is going to be 101 here today. and no it is not a dry heat. we have lots of humidity. only 1 1/2 hours from houston (the coast).
