So I was bored and my cousin is looking for a car so we went to the Ford dealership today. Same one I bought my truck from and they've had a Ranger almost identical to mine on the lot since about a month after I got mine (so about 8-9 months). The salesman comes over to sell it to me (unfortunately I was in my mom's Sequoia so didn't have my truck) and I'm tellin' him already f'ing have it.... well he starts *****ing that it's a hard truck to sell and no one likes to color!! I just about smacked him considering they've had the identical twin in Black for the same amount of time and haven't sold that either!

He then proceeded to try to sell me an '03 or '04 lifted, black, F250... I pretty much start listing what I would change about the truck and he tells me it's a good truck for a girl... I just turned and walked away... idiot

 

lets see... cousin wants a car, yet salesman try's to persuede you to buy a truck. you arrive in a toyota and get mad at a salesman for doing their job. you claim you told the salesman you already have the same "efn" ranger he is trying to sell. (i doubt you said "efn" to him.) and you just about smacked him... (for doing his job) yet you mentioned nothing about what happened with your cousin. was he or she just left alone, ignored? yes, Marie, it sounds as if you truly are "Disturbed"

 

Haha... ok... I wasn't *****ing... just amused.... and yes, while I was approached by 2 salesman my cousin and her boyfriend were never even spoken to. His job may be to sell a vehicle but when I've told him atleast 3 times I'm here to look at this truck 'cause it looks just like mine, I'm not interested in buying anything, he should stop.

Again though, I'm not pissed. I enjoy going and looking at the new trucks on the lot and understand that salesmen are part of that experience. Doesn't bother me a bit, I just thought I would share in my amusement.

 

I absoloutly love it. I had a silver lancer for awhile as a rental car and I went crazy cause I could never find it in big parking lots. I have yet to lose my truck though :-D
