I'm fabricating again... Who wants some??

Like the title says, I'm fabricating again and need to know who is interested in what.

I owe Carl a replacement slider so I will be making one for him and two sets to sell. I would prefer to sell them to someone local (south Jersey/philly/de) so that I can install them but I'm willing to ship them if you're willing to drill the holes in the mount plates. $180 painted plus shipping.

I'm currently making a headache rack. It sits above the roofline for carrying of large items like steel tubing or canoes and has tabs at each end to prevent those things from sliding off. I'm also going to add 5 tabs for lights and two antenna mounts so it's not all work and no play. It will attach with two bolts thru the front of the bed and two in the side of the bedrail and will be covered with expanded steel. I'm considering a mount that will use the stake pockets but I don't want to take off my bedrail caps so if you want one that mounts in the stake pockets, bring me your truck and I'll make it work. Cost $120 plus shipping. I'm hoping to have mine done on Friday and have pictures up soon.

To go along with the headache rack I will be making a large 'T' that will go into a standard 2" receiver and sit about the same height as the rack to facilitate carrying those large items. $50 plus shipping. If you buy the rack and the 'T' at the same time, I'll do both for $150 plus shipping.

Over the next couple weeks, I will be making significant changes to my bumper/winch mount. Once it's done, I will take pictures for anyone who wants to see them. I posted pics of the current bumper on this site before and if anyone wants one of those, it'll be $180 plus shipping.

I'm currently designing a rear bumper with a tire carrier that will swing away to allow access to the tailgate. I have no idea what it will cost to make or how long it will take but once I get one done, I will post pics and a price.

Please PM me (or email at tbarcia@comcast.net) if you're interested or feel free to post here if you have any questions.

I'd love some aluminum door sills. (Something that says "Dane's Ranger") or something like that.

Just to replace those ugly plastic "Ranger" dealies.

I could really use a decent front skid plate if you could do that for a good price?

I'm not doing anything in aluminum until I get a bigger shop but I know there's somebody here who can do it. For the skidplate, I'll see what I can do. I had mine bent from 1/4" aluminum but I don't have the ability to bend anything that big so I'd have to sub that one out.

Swoop, I'm still evaluating the disk brakes to see if it's worthwhile to try to sell them. I'm not sure that the liability involved is really going to be worth it especially since others are selling similar brackets (better made honestly) for somewhat reasonable prices on ebay. For what I'd have to sell them for to be competitive and for the liability involved if they fail and someone gets hurt, it just doesn't seem worthwhile.

Is this spare tire carrier going to work with the stock bumper, or does your plan involve replacing it?

I'm designing a rear bumper so I'm not sure if it will be anything like what someone else has. I actually hope that it's somewhat unique. The spare tire carrier will be part of the bumper (removeable for those who want the bumper but not the carrier) but I have yet to come up with a good way to make a tire carrier that won't interfere with the tailgate opening other than the bumper/carrier combo. I've never made the light tabs but there are a couple of people here who do so I'm not planning to make them.
