Hey guys, new to the forum. ive lurked a bit in the past but im finally getting started with some repairs and upgrades that ive been putting off for a couple months. I'm a desert rat, born and bred, spent some times on the FEOA.net and hondatech forums, getting away from sport compacts and moving into the offroad world bit by bit. My main interests on the forum are going to be build threads, group buys, and eventually some custom work ive had cooking away in my brain for a while. I've got an automatic 4x2 3.0L and im mainly going to be lurking the repair threads and trying to sort out some confusion i have around engine compatibility. I'll keep my dream build to myself for now but at the moment, i just want to get her road worthy again. i seized the motor a couple months back and it's been sitting like a paper weight but it's going to be my mission this spring to have her serviceable for work, but as time goes on and i get myself a second vehicle, I'll take her down for some bigger moves.

I'm studying solidworks and autocad at the moment, so if anyone has access to SQL files for an 06 XLT, that would be awesome. I'm really interested in the prerunner builds though, and at some point i want to sink my teeth into suspension mods and see if i can adapt some of the ideas ive seen and used on previous builds to the application.

This will be my first foray into the truck world, and so far the experience is a positive one, and i hope to be an asset to the community at some point. as it stands, im noob as hell and reading through to learn what i can. I'll probably start a build thread at some point in the next few days since ive got some time on my hands, and if i come across a decent tripod, I might try my hand at taking some video of my process.

Welcome! We used to have some prerunner guys hanging around here years ago, so you should find some decent info and build threads from them.
