It's Snowing & I LOVE My Ranger

Snow is coming down on the BC Coast and my new '08 Sport 4X4 just keeps on going and going. I've only had the Ranger since Oct and this is the first time I've had her out in the snow and it works great. We only get snow 3 or 4 times a year and it only lasts for a few days when it comes, but man is it ever bad around here because of all the hills. I'm glad I ordered limited slip and 4X4 that is for sure!
...Terry

Hey another ranger from BC, nice. I'm from Chilliwack down in the eastern fraser valley. I bought my truck about six months ago, it was nice to play in the snow and see how well it gets around. By the time it stopped snowing we had atleast a foot but now its turned to rain and slowly beeing washed away.

I did take a few pics out in the snow while it lasted.

The snow around Powell River started on Friday night and was washed away in heavy rain on Sunday evening.
I live on a hill and I get to listen to all the ya-whos as they spin their wheels in front of my place.
Kyle K, in your signature, you have '2007 Sport' and '08 grille', but the 08 Sport has a STX type of a grille.
Sorry, I'm a little confused, is the grille on order?

Yes, i ordered and just got an 08 sport grille but haven't installed it yet. I just painted it the other day and it is sitting in my bedroom right now

I ordered it brand new oem from my local ford dealer. I paid a little over $200. A little pricey for a stock grill but i wanted new oem and couldn't find what i wanted on ebay. That price is in candaian too and bought in canada. Our dollar is worth more now but some prices haven't "adjusted' yet. The grille may be cheaper in the states.

Painting didn't cost me anything as thats what i do for a living so i did it at work

Did you bomb it or use a gun? It looks good in the pic.

Kyle, I was considering a couple of different '07 trucks until I saw the '08 Sport came with that grille. That sold it for me, I ordered an '08.
I liked the grilles in '02 & 03, but don't like the '04 thru '07.

Yup i bought my 07 before the 08's came out. Once i saw the 08s rolling around i knew i wanted that grill. Call me crazy but i like the older square foglights better than the round ones on the 08's. Should look perfect in my eyes once i slap the grill on the truck. There are a lot of things about the 06-08 sports that i really liked that drew me to buying one rather than a used slightly older one.
