grills broke, drivers side corner is broke, driverside fender push back, front panel under the headlight is cracked in a few places. hood is off with with the fenders now.

I think the fenders are coming off, maybe the bed too.

$120 ticket for careless driving.

So what happened?

 

on my way home from work. Both of us in the far right lane. Comin up on our exit. I look up a couple cars in front of him and see break lights, then i see the car in front of him nose dive, by that time i knew i had to lock them up. i hit the brakes, watch his truck do a nose dive, and i steer off to the right as far as i could. If there wouldnt have been construction in the area still, then there wouldnt have been a temporary wall there, and i could have went farther off the road. but noooo, stupid city of jacksonville sits on thier *** all day and take forever to finish projects.

 

I just got into an accident with my 2006 Ranger last Saturday got side swipped by another car but apparently that was my fault so i got stuck with the fine, and all the other driver got was a free ride to the hospital in ambulance with a minor back injury. The damage on my truck was from the passenger door all the way down to threw the box, also got hit on the back right tire and that broke the U bolts and shifted the bed and bent the axle. But the good news is that i just found out today that it is fixable and they will start work next Friday once the parts come in.

 

in the state of florida, any time you hit some one in the rear, your at fault. no and's if's or but's.

Same in VA. It sucks. But its so hard to prove otherwise, and the times when the person behind ISNT at fault are few and far between.
I almost did the same thing the other day. Except it was me: brand new mercedes suv, vs. her: toyota corolla... She was lucky those things have good brakes.
