fuel filter location

fuel filter location

go ahead and make fun but i have no clue where my fuel filter is. anyone have an easy way to locate it or just tell me exactly where it is? lol

I believe they have been on the frame rail under the driver side since day one.

correct. driver side inside fuel rail. 2 in 1 out

^Not necessarily. Mine is 1 in 1 out.

both of my trucks were 1 in 1 out as well. Same on the bronco

Its only 2 in if you have the Flex Fuel package, i think.

my red truck was flex fuel and it was 1/1

My old one was one in, one out but my dad's was two in two out. Not sure why though...

Nope. I have 2 inlet. 1 outlet

I have an 08 and mine was two in 1 out. I just changed it for the 30k checkup.

uh oh!!! well I have heard from buds (not verified) that FFV filters and normal engine fuel filters are different in that FFV allows more fuel to flow easier (due to possibility that you run off E85) idk whatever number of innnies and outties you have just look for a fist sized metal "can" with hoses running to fuel tank and forward to engine bay

hoses from fuel pump to filter to engine. some filters are in hose in one hose out, mine happens to be two in one out
