KC light bar

I know a few people have the KC light bar for the roof. Before I buy one, I have a question. Do You need to drill holes for the bar? I know redneckstone and 04lvl2 will probably help, so thanks guys.

Yup, gotta drill like 4 small holes on each side to mount the gutter mount. Just use some clear silicon when you insert the screws.

you have to buy a gutter kit and you drill the holes under the weather stripping and then mount your lightbar on the gutter kit.

edit: dangint stone beat me to it.

i think he is trying to ask if there is any other way to mount them on a 2 door ext cab ranger.......and the answer is....yea if you can fab....but for them to be installed and look good i would say they need to be installed in the door jamb....and because you have a 2 door ext cab it would look dumb that far up in the middle of the cab....it needs to sit toward the rear of the cab ...

I was thinking of putting it up front. I'll decide when I have it in my hands.

Look at most of the desert racing trucks, they have the lights mounted in the front. I know their trucks don’t look like most of ours, but you can get an idea. Plus With them mounted to the rear of the cab you get less light right in front of the truck. Depends on how you plan on using the lights I guess.
