So any ideas on how to remove my damn key? .. i tried tilting the steering wheel and giggling the key a bit but it wont come out! I cant turn the key backwards either to put the stereo on.. i can turn it forward and start it tho.

 

You tried tilting the steering wheel, but did you try turning the wheel. I know this is general and you probably already know this, but if the wheel has locked try turning it either way and removing the key at the same time.

 

Yeah tried that and i figured it out.. im an idiot.. lol the thing wasnt fully set in park!

mine did this once but the key got bent from me sitting on it or something, it was really hard to get the key in and out. i thought someone got pop (soda/coke for the down state members lol) or something on the inside of the ignition switch.

 

I have come out at 2am for calls where the customer says they can't get the key to turn. want the car towed home. I get there, place it in park, or unlock the wheel and they usually don't want to pay the full service charge.

So, what do I do? Lock the keys in the car and pull out. It usually takes about 5 minutes before my phone rings and they are calling me back! (insert evil laugh here)

 

lol thats so bad, i would prob do that same thing..

btw chuck you should paint your grill like mine, i think it would make your truck look alot better with them lights and push bar.
all you have todo is tape off the chrome and sand the silver area down, clean it really good then paint it.
