Hey guys,

I bought my truck used and it only came with 1 key and no keyless fob. my question is, can i buy a oem keyfob and program it to work with my truck? i have the PATS system and electric locks.

Yes to self programming the keyfob. You're out of luck for the key though. If you ever need another, the dealer will have to do it.

 

sweet. now to get me a keyfob, probably off ebay.

yeah i know the keys can be expensive at the dealer. but i know a locksmith who can get me the keys for a lot cheaper than dealer prices.
