im going to tint mine 20% and i want to see what its gonna look like and i also want to know more about this stuff a freind of mine bought some film at walmart and put it on him self its not the best but its not that bad also how easy does it come off since your not allowed to have it in nj and i wont get through insection with it i really dont even have that good of an idea on how to put it on

15% is the stock tint match up. i only recommend getting your windows professionally done. well worth the money. mine was $105 for both fronts and it took 35 min.mine looks purplely in the pic but its not at all, it is because of the antiglare coloring of the rears that make it look like that. here is 35% in the front and 20% in the rear on my tbird. will be getting redone sometime to 20% all around.

Stock tint isn't 15%, I think it's 20%. I know mine is at 15% in the front and it's noticably darker (if you're looking for it). Look at nicholoff's side pick and look at the difference between the front and back. Now look at Chris_w_2008's at 20% all around.........Zabeard, you've had your windows tinted for a while now, you ever noticed that?

 

i ordered it from a small truck accessories store in jasper, GA. i think cuz it was black it was somethin like 300

 

yea when looking out....

its because that tint is in the glass. where this is on the side of the glass. i think if it was metered it would be very close to the same.

Its been that way for about a year now. To be honest with you. It actually blends all in together from looking at it outside at an angle. The sides are darker so you really cant tell. The pic was showing it off. Still not dark enough for the costa's.

sorry to threadjack but does any one have 50% or 70% and pics of it because it illegal in Cali to have front windows tinted darker than 70% and my parents wont let me get any thing thats "illegal" but i think 50% isnt to noticable what do you guys think?

yeah i know that truck he is on caraudio forums. he has double 5% all around. retarded. to the guy who said cali is illegal to have the fronts tinted darker than 70%. michigan is illegal to have your fronts tinted, we can only have the top 4" tinted. and the reason mine looks different as zach said the tint is in the window and the new is on the window and the antiglare in the factory tint makes it look different, 95% of the time you dont notice a difference.
