Leveled up my 2001 ?

I took my 2001 excab 4x4 To Les Schwab's today and had them try to level it out some .It was lower in the front ,and I wanted a little more ground clearance ,My Question is will this cause more wear ie, CV joints in the front axle, or ball joints , or other things I might want to look out for , Yes they did an, alignment, Mech says the T bars are at max,

robert, you do know you can "level" your truck by cranking your torsion bars.
takes about 10 minutes and it's free

A. According t o your pictures you have a 2WD. The grille on your truck is a 2WD grille.

B. Cranking your torsion bars is very easy and can be done with a socket set and a jack. In a half hour.

C. $59 for an alignment isn't bad and if he aligned it won't wear tires or any parts out.

D. If you were charged extra for the T-bar cranking you got dupped. It is free and easy.

The grill has had me questioning the truck too,,, as its a 4x4 xlt ,, someone had to changed it out ,,, For the whole story on leveing it out ,Last week they [ Les Schawb ] put new rotors and brakes on the front,, rears were go [ 75%],,at that time they did an alignment after driving it for a week ,I wanted to level it out as at my old age I forgot to as them the first time around ,They said bring it in would do it under my warranty, from fist alignment , So he raised the front and realigned it ,,,no charge,,, So what about that grill I am starting to like it ,might just leave it as I have put quite a bit of money in this used truck already ,,Its had from dealer before I bought it and new clutch & rebuilt tranny , I paid 7000.00 for it 120k ,,motor so quiet no ticks , Robert

Gotcha. Makes sense now.

The way your first post looked I thought you had took it up for just torsion cranking and was charged for it specifically.

if you lift the front of the truck with the torsion bar crank you will get accelerated wear. PERIOD. you are putting more stress on all the front end components and changing operating angles. it all creates wear issues
