light tabs and car wash

light tabs and car wash

so i just ordered a set of light tabs to go with my kc lights. any worries about going threw the car wash with the lights mount on the tabs?

If it's a touchless car wash you will be fine.

no it is a regular one you drive in and park and the unit slides and has the spider things. i have one next to where i work and i get $1 off cupons for it.

Spider things? As long as it doesn't touch your vehicle you'll be ok. If you do manage to find one with the brush devices stay away as it will eat your antenna.

I have gone through a tone of those. Probably a hundred times, only one of which it screwed up my antenna, never on my truck though.

I went through many of car washes when I had the light tabs mounted on my truck with no problems.

well noted. it can eat my antenna i really dont like it too much i am gonna get a short billet one.

whats a car wash? never used one...


^^ seriously never have used a drive threw car wash EVER.. only use hose and bucket at my house or quarter car wash in the winter... refuse to go to those places..

my truck went thru a dealer's carwash and it broke a light on the front, and they bought me a new set (they were cheap walmart specials). The light tab itself was fine
