a little go & show

Well for the go I installed a PowerTrax Lock-Right yesterday. took about 3 hours. not too hard to do. --a big thank you to Owen (Glowin3232) for the heads up on grinding the corner down on one of the ring gear teeth to clear the center drive pin. This thing is fun! however I gotta learn not to hit the gas so hard in the corners now! can't wait to try it offroad, however with trips to River Ranch questionable, will need to find a new place to go. That takes care of the "go". as for the "show" as long as the rearend was apart I added a chrome cover, sorry no pics, camera wouldn't work! GRRRR!

my buddy just got one installed and it's so rough on him around corners that he's taking it out. he says it wore the edges off his back tires in less than a month.. hope you have better luck than him, or at least get the cornering down.

How much air pressure was he running in his rear tires? The locker can also cause faster tire wear if one of the rear tires has more/less air in it than the other one. I've had my Lockright for about 8 months and my rear tires look just like the fronts. Rotating them is the key!
