Ok I decided to do a local search for a used Level II, and bam look what I came up with. My trucks twin! (Except this is an Auto) I am going to look at it, but I refuse to pay that price, I won't pay a nickel over 16 for it, but wouldn't it be silly stupid if I ended up with the same truck I just sold? At least it has less than half the miles

Yea zach, he saved a lot on his house, more than the diference in the truck.

IIRC he got an awesome interest rate on his house, as he would have got a worse one if he still had the truck loan.

Just a 1 percent interest rate increase can be like 10k over 30 years...it's crazy!!!

Yeah now that I am looking at getting back into a ranger most people are asking what the hell did I sell the first one for? Well I'll explain it again.

They take my Income from last year (alot less than this year) and subtract my Revolving debt (Student loans Credit cards Carpayment) and decide how much is safe to loan me for a house. This Gets me a Better interest rate 5.8%. Now I can Get a Conventional Loan for about 7.5% for 30 years and I don't have to prove a thing income wise and I could have kept the truck, But that will cost me tens of thousands of dollars over the term.

Now My mortgage lady said I needed to get rid of the truck to be eligible for this. She also found out I was eligible for a 18K Grant from the county if I sold my truck, I lost about 5K from selling my truck I figure, and I probably saved 50K+ so for a net estimated gain of 45K I can put into my 401K.

I tried selling it to my parents temporarily, but they couldn't do it, so my only option was to sell fast.

I figured that since it was gone it was prime time to get a used Full size. Well I came to figure out that this will cost me more than the Ranger. The older the truck the higher the intereest rate and the shorter the term. I figured if I was going to be saddled with a $400 a month car payment I would rather have my Ranger. I fell in love with the tacomas, but they will cost more in payment and insurance, so now I am back to Rangers. I am probably going to buy new, but If I can find one I like that is used I am willing to go that route. If I go used it Will be another Level II, or If I could find a Nice Low mileage 01-02 Bright Island Blue 4X4 with a styleside bed, like my old truck for a good deal I'd buy that, but no luck so far.

Sorry for the long post, but I figured if I laid all my card out there you all would understand the situation.

p.s. I am a little gung ho now to get an truck the first week of august now, because it has been hot and muggy and I have been stuck driving a Cadillac with no tinted windows and no air! Also I am constatly trying to keep it from overheating, I can make it 13 more days but I need a reliable driver.

Yeah, Now I just need Grant to sell me the truck back! I'll give him 13K since he put that nice lift and rims on it for me!

Sounds like a Plan! Maybe we can let ourselves into Camp Jeep, I's right next to the ford dealer in Forest lake and it has all kindsd of off-road fun! JUst don't get stuck in there it will cost you a ton! (Don't ask me how I know)
