the reason they are high on NON GUTTER trucks because they where designed for gutter trucks where the gutter is just above the door which was 1-3" down on the side..

zach, how much reflection do you get from the roof? I'm thinking something similar in the future for my truck, but it's gonna mount more towards the front of the cab. Any glare?

You can't buy the KC rack anymore, hasn't been made for years. CARR makes one similar, you have to get the one for the Expo and cut it down to fit. You'll need the gutter mount kit as well.

I don't like how high it sits off the roof with the lights on top. Who was the guy that had the rack like that, but mounted his lights on the bottom? THAT looked cool.

I definetly like the truck it's mounted on in the pic though.

someone had one of those light bars and mounted for 4x6 rectangle lights up side down and it looked perfect but i dont think you could fit round lights upside down and if you could they have to be small

Might want to try calling Dixon bros, or Camburg, or something like that. I know they don't always show what the fab on their websites all the time.
